Sunny Meadows
Earlier this month I got a chance to head towards Eastern Washington & check out the Palouse. Along the way, we stumbled upon these beautiful rolling fields of lush yellow flowers.
As Summer is in full bloom in Washington, I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about how I could explore the Pacific Northwest around me. I think the hardest part is actually finding someone crazy enough to go with me, in the impossible hours I like to wander off in.
I find it rare... to run into people with an extreme hunger for a fast paced life, outside the norms. It's so easy for us to grow up & fall into a comfortable routine that makes us feel safe. While nothing is wrong with that, it's just not what I want to settle for in my life. Working in healthcare, you realized how valuable your life is. Any day could be your last, so I want to live the rest of my life, not just today, like I'm dying. It'd be nice to always have an adventure buddy, but I'm also an advocate for women not waiting (especially for a guy), to make their dreams come true. With that said, while I wait for that perfect buddy, my next solo adventure will take me into British Columbia! Cheers! - Love, Jen
