IBIZA

After a short flight & an illegal Selfie on the tarmac, We arrived in thAt city that mike posner took a pill in.

Sud Ibiza Suites

Coming from Seville, a calmer & more historic city, us girls were ready for a change of pace in Ibiza! All along the taxi ride in from the airport, you’ll see billboard after billboards of music shows, clubs & festivals. Plus we went from our smaller hotel rooms to a 2 bedroom suite on the waterfront.

**Forgot to take photos, so the above photos of our suite, are from the website.

More than impressed with our room, it was definitely perfect for a group party experience!

Unfortunately, because of it being the off season, our local beach access was fenced off for renovation. When we asked the front desk, they said that their busiest season is Summer. That’s when you’ll find more social events happening downtown. Don’t worry about us girls though, with the sun setting fast, we quickly changed & found our way past the fence & towards the water for sunset! Shh!

Ibiza Castle

07800 Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain

The next morning, we had a taxi take us all the way to the top of Old Town Ibiza, to Ibiza Castle (also known as Eivissa Castle). If you’re looking for high up views, this is where to get them!

Admittedly, we didn’t go inside the castle. We were more enraptured with enjoying the sites & refreshing breeze. Built in the 1200s, the castle is now surrounded by a stone wall. If you start at the top, you can make your way around the walkways lining the stone ways & view the 360 degree views as well as checkout the inactive cannons they still have out for display.

As we made our way down the wall, we continued to explore the lower parts of Old Town Ibiza. Coming from a hill filled city that follows a very grid-like layout, it was absolutely beautiful to see the cascading white buildings as we made way through the town, exploring the scattered shops.

Cappuccino Marina Ibiza

Passeig Joan Carles I, 20, 07800 Eivissa, Illes Balears, Spain

Eventually we were famished & ready for dinner. With views like Ibiza, we didn’t just want any place though. As we walked along the water outside of Old Town Ibiza, we came across Cappuccino Marina Ibiza! If you’re looking for great food with unobstructed views of the water, this place is it!

There’s also indoor seating to enjoy, but with heat lamps on hand & blankets available for any outdoor guests, why not sit outside & enjoy the sun set like we did! The food & service was great!

Plus, check out this view (below) at night! All in all, with my 3 friends, it didn’t feel too bad that we were there in the off (less party) season. We still found great places to go out at that & we were having fun until 4 am! And with that, we still made it to our 8am flight to Barcelona! ;)
