Wandering Paris

In my few days in Paris, I took the underground trains to visit numerous sites around the beautiful city. Besides the landmarks I've already mentioned, liked the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero and Pont Alexandre III, here are some of my other favorite picturesque spots to explore.

Musee D'Orsay

The thing I liked about museums in Paris, was that you could easily do a self-guided audio tour in whatever comprised your native language. For the most part, informational plaques were in French, so it was nice to walk through a museum, with headphones on & actually understand the artwork.

And in case you're wondering, this is indeed the museum with the Instagram famous clock. Like everything in else in Paris, the buildings that hold the art, are as beautiful as the artworks themselves.

Parc Andre Citreon

If the crowds at the Eiffel Tower is  too much for you, be sure to check out Parc Andre Citreon. Just a 2-3 train stops away, for about 12 euros,  you can get a hot air balloon view of the Paris, including the Eiffel Tower!

From the Generali hot air balloon, you can also get views of the beautifully lush & peaceful park itself. Even without the balloon ride, it's worth visiting for a relaxing kind of day.

Tour Eiffel at Night

Last but not least, there are various locations to view the Eiffel Tower at night, but if you cross the bridge towards the Trocadero, you'll find two merry-go-rounds that run only at night. A great photo op! Hope yo enjoyed my photo journey through Paris. You can check out my photo at other locations below:
